Pineapple

Pineapple contains enzyme bromelain. This enzyme is “guilty” that the tongue and lips ache when eating pineapple. Unpleasant sensations are compensated, first, by the fruit taste, and secondly, by the benefit that this enzyme brings, getting into the body.

The main purpose of bromelain is to break down protein and improve its digestion, that is, actively engage in the process of digesting meat, fish and other foods rich in this nutrient. Pay attention: exclusively fresh pineapples have splitting properties – canned ones will be powerless against a heavy dinner.

Pineapples are also rich in dietary fibers that help the intestines to work and suppress hunger; actually, this fruit can be advised to people, who watch the figure. Certainly, there is a disadvantage as well; pineapples do not belong to low-calorie foods, so do not abuse them.

Do not you like grapefruit for its bitterness? In vain, because translucent membranes between the slices, slightly spoiling the fruit taste, contain naringin. This substance has a choleretic effect and has an indirect effect on fat burning.

Naringin comes into conflict with insulin – a hormone responsible for lowering blood glucose level and fat accumulation. After you ate grapefruit, insulin in the blood decreases. This blunts the appetite and stops formation of fatty layer.

Ginger is another helper in struggle for slim figure. This hot spice has a positive effect on blood circulation, especially in the stomach, and causes secretion of gastric juice.

That is, ginger improves digestion and speeds up the metabolism.

This spice does not reduce extra pounds, but helps the body better cope with abundant intake of food. A thin slice of spice after dinner is a great way to get up from the table with minimal losses.

Our body is easy to mislead. For example, one flavor of cinnamon can bring to naught, it would seem, an irresistible desire to eat a piece of cake or a chocolate bar.

Maybe, this is because of buns that are hard to imagine without cinnamon.

Howbeit, cinnamon does not only have a wonderful aroma, but also lowers blood sugar and slows down accumulation of fat. Surely, provided that the spice has entered the body with something useful – porridge, yogurt or berry dessert.
