STRIPED DIET

Striped diet allows you to get rid of excess weight and not to harm your own health. Many women on various slimming diets note that weight goes only at the initial stages of the diet, and then ceases to reduce, or even begins increasing. Striped diet will help you avoid this problem.

PRINCIPLES OF DIET

To get rid of excess weight with a striped diet, you must adhere to the following principles:

Yogurt days should alternate with low-calorie days. This allows you to diversify the menu and to survive hungry days easier.

“White” days in the diet should alternate with “colored” days.

On white days, you need to consume only natural low-fat yogurt (up to 2 liters per day). You should choose a high-quality product. It is best if the fat content of the yogurt does not exceed 1%.

On “colored days”, you can eat a variety of foods, yet you need to monitor that their total caloric value does not exceed 1500 kcal per day.

Walnuts and cedar nuts, Almond, Buckwheat / Oatmeal cooked with water, Rye bread

1% / 2.5% Yogurt, 0.6% fat Cottage cheese, Omelet / Boiled eggs.

As for the drinks, you are allowed to have Coffee and Green / Black Tea.

To ensure that the diet is as effective as possible, you must stop consuming the following products, or severely restrict their consumption:

  • Sugar.
  • Oil-fried foods.
  • Wine: no more than one glass a day.
  • Natural “live” beer no more than one glass a day.
  • Fast food is allowed only as an exception.
  • Wheat flour bread, pasta, confectionery – all these products are sources of fast carbohydrates, which contribute to excess weight gain.

Some foods in the striped diet fall under absolute prohibition.

The “white” day menu in the striped diet should look like this:

Throughout the day, you should have 2 liters of yogurt. You are not allowed to eat anything else during the day.

During the day, you can have 1.5 liters of yogurt. In this case, you can eat 100 grams of oatmeal cooked with water for breakfast.

During the day, you can have 2 liters of yogurt, and eat 150 g of boiled chicken meat (no fat, no skin) for dinner.

During the day, you can have 1.5 liters of yogurt. You can supplement your menu with 1 apple and 2 grapefruits.

“Colored” days in the striped diet are more diverse than the “white” days are. Menu options may look like this:

Option 1:

Breakfast: oatmeal cooked with water (maximum serving volume – 150 g), sugar-free coffee.

Lunch: vegetable soup (portion – 200 ml), boiled rabbit meat (150 g), fresh vegetables (100 g).

Dinner: cottage cheese, the portion of which should not exceed 150 g.

Between the main meals, you should have a few snacks. For this purpose, you can use the following products:

  • apple,
  • peach,
  • almonds (no more than 5 pieces).

Option 2:

Breakfast: buckwheat porridge cooked with water (200 g serving), a cup of green tea.

Lunch: 200 g of chicken meat and the same portion of soup cooked with chicken broth, vegetable salad, but without potatoes.

Dinner: 200 grams of vegetables and steamed fish.

Between the main meals, you should snack on any of the following products:

  • pear,
  • cottage cheese (100 g),
  • two crispbreads,
  • a cup of natural non-sweet yogurt.

Option 3:

Breakfast: brown rice, cooked with water (200 g serving volume), coffee.

Lunch: vegetable soup (150 ml), boiled beef (200 g), fresh cabbage (200 g).

Dinner: boiled chicken meat (150 g), vegetable salad (100 g serving).

Between the meals, you can have:

  • banana,
  • cocoa or juice,
  • 10 pieces of pine nuts.

AN important aspect of a successful weight loss on a diet is the correct way to exit the diet. To do this, you need to consume healthy foods for 14 days, the total daily caloric content of which should not exceed 1500 kcal.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

The advantages of the striped diet can be identified as follows:

  • During the diet, you consume an extremely useful product for your health – natural yogurt.
  • Products that you are allowed to eat during this slimming diet are not expensive, so your menu will not be harsh on your wallet.
  • Striped diet is much easier to endure than any other mono-diet, based on the consumption of only one food product. For example, yogurt or buckwheat diet.

Despite all the advantages, the striped diet has a number of drawbacks, among which:

  • If you consume large amounts of yogurt for a long time, you can have digestion problems.
  • The diet should not last more than 21 days, since its caloric value is not sufficient for a normal life of the adult body.
  • The diet assumes constant restrictions in the menu, therefore it can be difficult to observe at times.
  • Physical loads are incompatible with the striped diet.

The list of contraindications to the striped diet includes the follows conditions:

  • Diseases of the digestive tract;
  • Pregnancy;
  • Lactation;
  • Obesity;
  • Peptic ulcer disease;
  • Diseases of the blood;
  • Gout;
  • Chronic kidney pathology.
